I hold a B.S. in Sociology and Social Work from the University of South Dakota and have experience working with various nonprofit organizations. My research interest explores the relationships between digitalization and social life, with a focus on how knowledge and culture diffuse in increasingly mediated environments. One of my current research projects examines social media's impact on individual self-cultivation through a Simmelian perspective.
