Join me in congratulating Kum-Kum Bhavani for winning the Oliver Johnson Award for Distinguished Leadership in the Academic Senate. This systemwide award is a well deserved honor for someone who has devoted so much time and energy to the Academic Senate, both at UCSB and as chair of the UC Senate.
